Packservice is continuously expanding its portfolio along the supply chain, resulting in a wide range of customer enquiries to the group of companies. The PoS heroes have now been created in order to meet every enquiry as quickly as possible and to be able to offer customers individual advice and a suitable offer within the shortest possible time: A specially developed online platform for configuring a wide range of customer requirements. These range from packaging development and transport to the customisation of PoS displays. The user is guided through the Packservice Group's product range in three simple steps.
In addition to contract packing as a core competence of the co-packer, the company can offer a much more extensive portfolio. For years, the Packservice corporate strategy has focussed on Sustainability and innovation to lead the way with new ideas and alternatives. The same applies to the subsidiary FPS Flexpack. Founded in 2018, Flexpack expands its portfolio to include trading in transport and shipping packaging as well as packaging materials.
Particularly in demand here are also Sustainable alternatives, for example when switching from plastic to paper or corrugated cardboard packaging. Flexpack recently launched two developments on the market, PaperStretch wrapping paper from Seaman Paper and the Wapal honeycomb pallet, which the Packservice Group will be presenting alongside the online configurator in Nuremberg. PaperStretch, the paper-based solution for wrapping and securing products on pallets, can be used in a similar way to hand stretch film. Wapal is a Pallet made from paper honeycomb. It is lightweight, completely recyclable and water-repellent. The support feet can be individually arranged and adjusted in size.
