The European network of medium-sized, owner-managed packaging retailers presents itself as an association with all 21 members. According to CEO Thomas A. Baur, PackSynergy's competitive advantages include not only a Europe-wide sales platform and substantial advantages in purchasing, but also the exchange within the network.
„Know-how transfer, further training and joint development work are very important in our organisation. In our Learning Academy, we inform and train ourselves with the help of best-practice examples, hands-on workshops and info sessions. We also involve our suppliers and external specialists. There are regular market calls and expert panels on current trends and developments and special task forces to develop new solutions. This holistic team concept is an extraordinary and highly valued added value for our network partners.“
We intend to be a strong organisation for the benefit of members, suppliers and customers, focus on the Italian, French, Romanian and Hungarian markets in particular. The network is not yet represented there with its own members. In addition to the targeted expansion PackSynergy is strongly emphasising the use of sustainable products and solutions this year. To this end, Verbund will be showcasing a range of selected products from its group suppliers at its stand. In addition, the PEAS (Environmental Assesment Scoring) project was launched this year, which will provide initial insights.
The companies Horna Verpackungen, Papier Liebl, Servisbal Obaly and Wepa Verpackungen as co-exhibitors of PackSynergy, will also be showing their own customised packaging solutions.
