
Innovative and sustainable plastic packaging solutions are the focus of the PackTheFuture Award. The prize is being awarded for the fifth time this year and the IK Industrievereinigung Kunststoffverpackung and its French partner ELIPSO are now calling for entries.

The two associations have used the time off due to the pandemic to Sharpening the profile of the award and reorganising the categories for submission according to the cornerstones of EcoDesign. As a sponsor we support Interseroh+, part of the Interzero Group, the PackTheFuture Award. „The PackTheFuture Award offers an excellent platform to further expand our commitment to sustainable and recyclable plastic packaging,„ says Markus Müller-Drexel, CEO of Interseroh+ and member of the Grand Jury.
Until the 28 February, members of the associations Innovations in the categories Design for Reuse, Design for Sustainable Material Sourcing and Recycled Content, Design for Recycling, Design for Environmentally Sound Use and Disposal, Design for Product Protection and Design for Consumer Benefit / Convenience. For submissions, a new Website with a simple online application.
Following the recent online award ceremony for the PackTheFuture Award 2020, which was held in compliance with coronavirus regulations, the organisers are delighted together with Messe Düsseldorf is now once again looking forward to an attention-grabbing award on 9 May 2023 at Interpack. As usual, all submissions will be recognised in the Innovation Book.
