„Lions Prep's mission is to offer healthy cookery boxes to busy consumers. This includes offering gluten-free and vegan options. Our focus on excellence goes beyond the protein-rich meals prepared for delivery - the packaging is also important to our customers. It needs to be convenient for customers, food-safe and sustainable for the planet. That's why we decided to pack our cooking boxes in the Ranpak RecyCold climaliner.”

Pia Raffaela, Purchasing Manager at Lions Prep

The previous solution consisted of a denim blanket, which can trap moisture and food flavours and is difficult to recycle. After a thorough discussion of the requirements and close technical support, Lions Prep opted for RecyCold climaliner. The new solution is the result of close co-operation between Lions Prep, Ranpak and the distributor. The climaliner consists of paper and, like other paper products, can be recycled with household waste. Lions Prep required up to 36 hours of protection, but the solution allows up to 48 hours of protection for unrefrigerated, refrigerated and frozen products. The The previous Lions Prep Box can be used with the new insulation without any problems. which consists of a significantly thinner layer and therefore allows for more box volume.

„RecyCold climaliner keeps our meals cooler, and because it's compostable, it's better for the planet and for our brand. Ranpak helped us a lot in finding this solution, plus it now fits more in our existing box. We are pleased to be able to offer our customers more sustainable packaging and a more pleasant unpacking experience. This puts us in a good position for further growth in the healthy lifestyle market: with sustainable packaging that is easy to use and communicates the right brand message in terms of sustainability!“
