Ingredients from the region. Many products advertise this. For Ragout from South Tyrol, this applies not only to the contents but also to the packaging. It has now received an international marketing award for this.
The South Tyrolean brand Josefus stands for sustainably produced, local and organic meat products that are processed locally and packaged sustainably. The packaging design reflects these values.
The locally produced „Cartamela“ apple paper is made from the press residue from apple juice production. The organic paper is said to be just as durable as conventional recycled paper and can be printed and processed just as easily.
For its packaging design, the South Tyrolean studio Oberhauser has now won the renowned US-American MarCom Marketing Award get.
The jury's reasoning:
The packaging of JOSEFUS glasses reflects the brand's ideals of sustainability, top quality and excellence. The innovative packaging can be opened by lightly pressing on the incised lines on the sides and a simultaneous opening movement on both sides. The packaging opens beautifully like a flower, creating a fundamentally new unwrapping experience. This design offers a previously impossible solution for tumbler glass packaging and enhances the product presentation and experience.
