New CEO at Groninger USA

With his appointment to the US location of the Groninger Group the German family-owned company is further expanding its market position in the North American market thus paving the way for further growth in this country segment.

Last year, the US branch of Groninger celebrated its 25th anniversary. Since its foundation a quarter of a century ago has invested heavily in the site and continuously expanded its capacities on site. The almost 90 employees are now able to service complete filling and capping systems with their own staff and manufacture the necessary spare parts independently. „This allows us to respond to customer enquiries up to three times faster - especially when it comes to the supply of spare parts,“ explains Jens Groninger.

This is where Philipp Hauser will pick up where he left off. Born in Germany, he has - with brief interruptions - already lived in the USA for almost 20 years. Today, he has both German and American citizenship.

Hauser and his team have ambitious plans for the future: „We will further increase the vertical range of manufacture on site. We will offer our business partners and customers even faster service and even better product availability.“ As Managing Director of Groninger USA LLC, he will be the link across the Atlantic to ensure smooth processes in the expansion of the site and to continue the close and synergetic cooperation with the German sites.
