The body of the bottle is made from 100 per cent social plastic, which is collected in partnership with the social enterprise Plastic Bank in countries that do not have a recycling system.

Following the successful Social Plastic Limited Edition last year, consumers can look forward to the new „Sea Fresh“ and „Coral Fresh” variants this year and receive a sustainably packaged washing-up liquid. The The body of the limited edition bottle is made from 100 per cent social plastic and the bottle cap is made from 84 per cent recycled material.
With the new limited edition, the brand combines sustainability and social commitment. The bottle body is fully recyclable. Since the year 2017 Handle was the first global company to enter into a partnership with the social enterprise Plastic Bank. Together they have Collection centres set up in countries without a recycling system, The aim is to reduce plastic waste in nature and at the same time create new opportunities for people living in poverty. The local People can exchange plastic collected on the beach or on land and receive money or social benefits in return. Some of the collected plastic waste is fed into the recycling value chain as social plastic and can be used in our bottle bodies. This combats poverty and plastic waste in nature. The Social Plastic Limited Edition is produced at the production site in Düsseldorf.
