The Cetatest 715 LV (Large Volume) leak tester was developed by Ceta Testsysteme specifically for the requirements of the packaging industry. The entire test sequence is controlled via a test device.

The additional turbo filling function enables fast filling, Automatic filling to the test pressure. Integrated, fast-switching protective circuits protect the test device and the device's internal sensors if the test part bursts. For flexible products, a stable measuring regime is achieved by mechanically limiting the expansion behaviour. For example, IBCs are tested in the transport grid box and additional hold-down devices are used. By means of upstream temperature measurement and switching to appropriately parameterised test programs temperature effects can be compensated.

Depending on the product, the test pressures are between 25 mbar and 160 mbar and the typical volumes of the containers are between 0.1 and around 1,200 litres. With the Cetatest 715 LV, a 1,000-litre IBC can be can be tested for leaks in less than 30 seconds. Depending on the test part volume, holes from 0.07 millimetres to one millimetre in size can be reliably detected. Thanks to a variety of available interfaces, the testing device can be integrated into automated production lines and is prepared for Industry 4.0 requirements. The transmission of important test process data enables traceability and analyses of production quality. The Cetatest 715 LV is used by well-known customers in the packaging industry. used very successfully in industrial quality control worldwide.
