25 April is Arbor Day, which has been celebrated in Karlsruhe and Ettlingen for years. Raja participated with a tree donation of 8,000 euros and planted a large number of young trees on 22 March. The trees process CO2 and contribute to the quality of life in the region.
The company approached the Arbeitskreis Oberrheinische Waldfreunde e.V. with the wish to plant trees in the vicinity of the company headquarters. The planting site was the Albtal cycle path, which connects the towns of Ettlingen and Karlsruhe and which many employees of Raja travelled regularly.

On 22 March, the company planted several young trees with the support of the Gartenbau Ring (Horticultural Ring) and, together with volunteers, committed itself to greater sustainability. Each planted Tree removes about ten kilograms of CO2 from the atmosphere per year. The tree planting campaign supports the Conservation of biodiversity and the quality of life of people in the region. Trees provide shade, improve the local climate and are important for the well-being of many animal species and citizens.
„We also want to make our contribution to sustainability locally and looked for appropriate opportunities.“

RAJA took part in the tree planting campaign with around 20 dedicated employees, helping to ensure that alders, willows and oaks could be planted along the Alb for the first time across all municipalities.
