Resource-saving solutions for intralogistics

Raja will be exhibiting at LogiMAT with two stands - one focussing on packaging and the other on intralogistics.

At LogiMAT, Raja will be demonstrating how sustainable packaging concepts ensure safe product protection and benefit the environment at the same time. The packaging expert will be exhibiting at two stands this year - one focussing on packaging and the other on warehouse logistics.

Sustainable packaging concepts that minimise CO2-Reducing the carbon footprint and simplifying work processes are important focal points at Raja. This is how Integrated and lean packaging processes, that save money, human resources and the environment at the same time.

Customised solutions are only possible with a high level of customer orientation. Raja analyses individual requirements and supports its customers in doing so, Optimise the timing of production, production quantities and deliveries. The direct exchange with customers at LogiMAT is particularly suitable for questions about increasing efficiency and process optimisation in warehousing and shipping as well as environmentally friendly packaging alternatives.

Raja is also offering a presentation on this topic on Tuesday, 25 April 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in the Forum North in Hall 5. Daniel Szymek, Head of Field Service and Machines at Raja Germany, will speak on the topic of „TCO and CO2 - 5 important letters in packaging purchasing“ talk about the various optimisation potentials.

The trend is towards resource-saving alternatives

There is an increasing demand for a switch to environmentally friendly packaging solutions. Wet adhesive tape made of paper instead of packing tape made of PVC or PP, straw padding instead of polystyrene, cardboard packaging made of recycled material, filling material made of paper instead of bubble wrap - all alternative packaging components that Raja recommends.

"The Trend towards resource-saving and recyclable materials for shipping is also becoming increasingly important for our customers,“ emphasises Harald Schönfeld, General Manager at Raja Germany. „More and more emphasis is being placed on climate protection targets and we want to fulfil this requirement and play our part.“

Visitors will also find a wide range of environmentally friendly solutions at the second stand, which is primarily dedicated to warehouse logistics. They will also be able to from the flexible set-up of a packing table or the advantages and possible material savings of the various types and applications of stretch film.
