Greif and the CDF Corporation have jointly developed a redesign of the GCube IBC Flex. The new design is especially suitable for transporting highly sensitive and liquid products under sterile conditions.

The next generation GCube IBC Flex, which is available in the UK, Europe and Scandinavia, features a Improved aseptic liner, which was developed by the CDF Corporation. The advanced form-fit liner outperforms conventional IBC liners and offers high evacuation capabilities. Its design means it opens as a square to fit the internal shape of the IBC and fills automatically. The GCube IBC Flex is ideal for the following markets Food and beverages, flavours and fragrances, lubricants and pharmaceuticals.

„We have worked closely with CDF throughout the development process to ensure that we deliver an improved product that meets the demanding requirements of our customers. We needed to work with an organisation like ours, for whom sustainability is central. In addition, our commitment to sustainability is reinforced by the take-back and reuse or reconditioning of the entire GCube IBC Flex system, including the liner and outer structure, making it an ideal choice for closed loop recycling.“

GCube IBC Flex is currently manufactured in Sweden, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Turkey, with production in the United States scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2024.

„The market launch is in line with our overarching innovation and investment strategy, which emphasises the development of sustainable solutions that not only increase customer satisfaction, but also ensure product integrity and safety.“
