Reusable lid replaces disposable plastic

Cupex is launching a resealable reusable lid for drinks onto the market for consumers, which replaces those made of disposable plastic.

The packaging of to-go drinks often has a short life and quickly ends up in the bin. There are now more and more reusable solutions and Cupex is also launching an innovation on the market for consumers. The resealable reusable lid can replace single-use plastic lids.

The Cupex reusable lid has a large, oval drinking opening and can also be easily opened by Patented Easy Slide Lid technology reclosable. The lid therefore ensures effective protection of drinks both inside and out. The lid can be attached to all coffee-to-go cups with a standard diameter of 90 mm. It fits both the disposable paper cups, as well as the latest reusable cups from Starbucks, McDonalds or Tiffin Loop.

The lid is made from temperature-resistant polypropylene, PP without the addition of other plastics and is therefore easily recyclable. It is tasteless and odourless and 100 percent free from toxic BPA and acrylonitrite. The three components of the lid are held together by a snap-fit connector. This can be easily detached for cleaning by hand or in the dishwasher.
