Reusable systems are not only finding their way into the catering industry. Reusable packaging can also save a lot of material in intralogistics. The transport specialist RS-Systems will be presenting the latest generation of its „Roll-Safe“ roll containers at LogiMat.
RS-Systems GmbH will be exhibiting at the LogiMat 2023 will be presenting its new range of transport security solutions. The trade fair presentation will focus on the enhanced „Roll-Safe“ solution for roll containers. The reusable structural chamber panels are available with an enlarged opening on the sides of the panels. This makes it easier to attach the hinge strip that connects Roll-Safe to the roll container. Roll-Safe eliminates the need to wrap roll containers with stretch film. This enables retailers to reduce their costs and avoid waste. Another new addition to the RS-Systems GmbH portfolio is a reusable box. It enables food wholesalers to save additional packaging material and reduce their CO2-footprint.
„This year, we have enlarged the openings on the sides of the panels so that attaching the hinge to the container is even quicker,“ says RS-Systems owner Martin Köllner. The company will be exhibiting both the „Roll-Safe flexible“ and the „Roll-Safe fixed“ versions at the trade fair. The latter is firmly attached to the container with a hinge strap and is therefore a fixed component. The flexible version is hooked onto the vertical struts of the roll container using four hooks. This allows the system to be removed quickly and reattached just as quickly. On request, the panels can now also be labelled with a QR code. This allows retailers to check where and how many discs are in circulation at any time. „This makes returns management easier,“ says Köllner.
