Sacmi Packaging & Chocolate will be presenting several new developments at ProSweets in Cologne in January 2022. The spectrum ranges from a praline wrapping machine and a flow-wrapping machine for high-performance applications to a very special product dosing system for semi-finished products.

The new HY7 multi-style praline wrapping machine, which is designed for flexible formats to meet current challenges, is making its debut at a trade fair. The development under the Carle & Montanari brand realises a high output of up to 700 chocolates per minute and processes even very delicate or irregularly shaped products with maximum efficiency. The individual, servo-driven parts of the folding unit can not only be flexibly adapted to the praline mould, but are also adapted to the various properties of the wrapping film. This means that the more environmentally friendly films of the latest generation can also be processed.

Flow-wrapping machine for longitudinal and transverse sealing

For products such as chocolate and muesli bars, snacks and chocolates, where a high output rate of up to 150 metres of film per minute is one of the prerequisites Sacmi is introducing a flow-wrapping machine with a horizontal form/fill/seal function under the OPM brand. Its extensive configurability makes the machine a special solution for longitudinal and transverse sealing.

Another new product under the Carle & Montanari brand is the MLRG 1500 continuous rotary dosing machine. The spot dosing system is ideal for moulding chocolate drops, chips, sticks or pieces. These so-called semi-finished products are used in the bakery industry or as „easy-melt products“ for bakeries and end consumers. In addition to an output of between 1,000 and 3,000 kilograms per hour, users can benefit from quick and easy format changeovers.
