Sales growth in robotics and automation

The VDMA expects sales in the robotics and automation sector to grow by 9 per cent in 2023, reaching almost 16 billion euros.

The VDMA expects sales growth of 9 per cent in the robotics and automation sector in 2023, which equates to almost 16 billion euros. The industry is also looking forward to the upcoming automatica trade fair from 27 to 30 June. 

The German robotics and automation industry is expecting growth in 2023. Sector growth of 9 per cent to 15.7 billion euros.

„The demand for robotics and automation remains high and the transformation of many customer industries requires innovative automation solutions. The emerging easing of supply chains is enabling the industry to gradually work off the enormous order backlog. We expect further impetus from our leading international trade fair automatica, which will take place in Munich from 27 to 30 June 2023. Against this backdrop, we firmly expect to significantly exceed our previous sales record from 2018 and thus leave the pandemic behind us once and for all.“
