hen Scanpack 2022 came to an end, there was a feeling of great joy. It was exactly the kind of sparkling, creative meeting place we had hoped for,“ says Anna Lena Friberg, Business Manager at Scanpack.
Scanpack, which was last held in 2018, celebrated its eagerly awaited comeback at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre from 4 to 7 October. Expectations were high, as 400 companies from 22 countries took part in the trade fair this year.
Almost 13,000 participants were at Scanpack
Scanpack counted a total of 12,894 participants from 4,125 companies and 45 countries.
„Scanpack was exactly the kind of glitzy, creative meeting place we had hoped for, and that's thanks to our fantastic exhibitors and visitors. It was a joyful impulse,“ says Anna Lena Friberg, Business Manager at Scanpack.
Barbro Berggren, Director of Marketing and Communications at DS Smith - the largest exhibitor at Scanpack - agrees:
We believe in personal encounters and have been looking forward to this trade fair for four years now. That's why we also focussed on interacting with customers at this year's trade fair. And the success exceeded our expectations: We had a lot to do at our stand, where we presented intelligent packaging solutions and innovations.
Scanpack celebrates anniversary in 2024
Preparations for Scanpack's 60th anniversary are now underway. The next Scanpack takes place in just two years, from 22 to 25 October 2024. The anniversary is being celebrated in various ways.
At the same time, the exhibition team will be strengthened by Monika Ölund, who will act as Business Manager. Monika Ölund has already managed several exhibition projects and has extensive experience in management positions in both municipal and private companies.
