
Schreiner Group was awarded the Gold Rating by Eco Vadis. The company was able to impress in the categories Environment, Labour Practices & Human Rights, Business Practices and Sustainable Procurement and is among the top 2 percent worldwide.
Being among the top two per cent worldwide is a success for a medium-sized family business. In order to become even more sustainable, the Schreiner Group now as Founding member of the „Corporate Climate Protection Network“.
In all categories from Eco Vadis the company performs above average. Even as a „leader“ with the best greenhouse gas management system in its class EcoVadis rates the company in terms of its CO2-management. „I am delighted with the excellent assessment,“ explains Managing Director Roland Schreiner. „It shows that we really do take responsibility for people and nature.“
The company recently set itself a strategic sustainability target: The aim is to be completely climate-neutral by 2030. Sharing experiences with other companies is also an important building block. In addition to its previous involvement in numerous networks, the Group has now become a founding member of a new one: The „Corporate Network Climate Protection“ is an IHK platform, which supports its members, particularly in the area of corporate climate protection.
