IBCs and drums from Schütz's Foodcert or Cleancert line guarantee comprehensive material, product and process safety. The company has now expanded its range of applications in terms of safety and cleanliness.
The new Ecobulk Foodcert + Aseptic and Cleancert + Dualprotect Schütz equips IBCs with a liner system including UN approval for the transport of hazardous goods, thus ensuring maximum quality protection.
The Ecobulk Foodcert + Aseptic fulfils the special requirements in the food, pharmaceutical and care product sectors, as it eliminates the risk of contamination throughout the entire supply chain. At the same time, the container extends the shelf life of the filling products and ensures consistent quality from filling to removal. This is made possible by a special component: the integrated liner.
The liner consists of LDPE film, also contains a EVOH permeation barrier against oxygen and is according to the Industry standard FSSC 22000 certified. It is kept virtually free of air thanks to a special fold and automatically aligns itself during the filling process. The successive unfolding minimises contact between the filling product and the surrounding atmosphere. The result: 99 per cent less oxygen contact and protection against condensate compared to the standard IBC.
Liner system for non-food
Schütz also offers the liner system for industries with highly sensitive goods from the Non-food segment. The correspondingly equipped Ecobulk trades under the term Cleancert + Dualprotect. Surrounded by the leak-proof IBC bladder This also effectively prevents leaks if the liner is damaged. The container is suitable for transporting adhesives, for example, which often react to oxygen by forming a skin or even hardening. The integrated liner Minimises possible oxygen contact during filling and in the packaging and thus prevents the filling product from being altered by contact with air.
