The Libyan United Beverage Bottling Company is expanding its production capacities with four new aseptic SIG filling lines.
The Libyan United Beverage Bottling Company (LUBBC), a major player in the Libyan beverage market, is intensifying its cooperation with SIG. The aim of the strategic partnership is to increase the company's production capacities, improve the supply of beverages to the domestic market and expand export potential.
As part of this co-operation, SIG is supplying four additional filling machines to LUBBC: one SIG Midi 12 Aseptic, two SIG XSlim 24 Aseptic and one SIG Mini 24 Aseptic. This means that the company will have six SIG filling lines in future. Two lines are already in operation, successfully filling Safi brand beverages, according to reports.
Using technology to meet growing demand
The Libyan beverage market is characterised by an increasing demand for hygienic, high-quality beverages. The new systems are intended to fulfil these requirements even better. According to SIG, aseptic carton packs are particularly suitable for distributing products safely, sustainably and without refrigeration - an advantage that is particularly important in regions with limited infrastructure.
