Fundamental to the performance of the CP2 is Proseal's tried-and-tested ProMotion tray feed system, which ensures the Increases throughput by utilising a tracking movement and intelligent buffering technology, to effectively control the flow of trays. This allows the trays to be fed into the machine continuously and without interruption. The CP2 is flexible enough to process new packaging formats, including recyclable and compostable trays. The automatic tool technology ensures quick and easy changeovers, while the Quick Release (QR) conveyors can be quickly removed and replaced to speed up and simplify cleaning and maintenance.

CP2 has innovative features. These include the ProTect user login and audit trail security system, which enables multi-level authorisation access, and full compatibility with the ProVision OEE and downtime analyser, which provides real-time data on machine performance. The Crate infeed and outfeed conveyors can be customised to the factory layout. and the CP2 can be fully integrated with additional equipment such as case erectors, labellers, printers and coders.

„We have received very positive feedback on our CP3 in terms of its high performance and reliability, but ongoing discussions with customers have also shown that many would welcome a more compact solution for applications that do not require the high throughput that the CP3 offers. The CP2 meets these requirements while providing a fast and efficient carton packaging solution that allows companies to maximise their throughput.“
