The newly developed Skyrail electric monorail system (EMS) transports goods overhead at high travelling speeds. The compact, lightweight conveyor system is now being presented at LogiMAT.
SEH Engineering GmbH is presenting its completely newly developed Skyrail electrified monorail system (EMS) in Stuttgart. The Conveyor system designed for compactness and lightness is suitable for companies of all sizes.
It is the ideal conveyor system for transporting, sorting, storing and distributing goods weighing up to 500 kg in a two-axle vehicle and 1000 kg in a four-axle vehicle in flexible production lines and assembly lines. The Skyrail vehicles themselves weigh just 50 kg. Long distances from the ridge to the second packaging can be covered at speeds of up to 150 metres per minute. be bridged.
The fully functional Skyrail system set up at the trade fair stand demonstrates high travelling speeds, which are essential for fast goods transport, and the good climbing ability of the system up to 30 degrees without additional components also their full reversibility in vertical sections. In addition, the rails, which are manufactured using the continuous casting process, can be mounted directly on the steel hall structure with 12 hollow chambers and clamping connections. They span up to six metres. This significantly reduces the investment costs.
Like all of SEH Engineering conveyor systems, the Skyrail conveyor systems are also planned and realised quickly and smoothly with the help of 3D scanning and virtual reality („predictive engineering“).
