Smart automation for beginners too

Yaskawa's motto is „Robot technology for smart automation“: the aim is to make it easier for smaller companies to get started with automation.

Yaskawa's trade fair motto promises „Robot technology for smart automation“: The manufacturer of Motoman robots is focussing on solutions that make it easy for smaller companies to enter the world of automation.

With convenient programming environments such as the Smart Pendant, technologies such as hand-guided programming or by adapting simple programming tools (such as the programming pen from the German start-up Wandelbots), the company shows how how easy it can be to set up and operate robots today. The new Plug&Play cobot series HC DTP enables cobot installations to be set up quickly, especially in the palletising and welding sector: with a high load capacity of 20 kilograms, its long arm and high IP67 protection class, the HC20, for example, works particularly successfully in applications without protective fencing.

Especially for the food industry Yaskawa developed the Motoman GP FGG robot series. FGG stands for „Food Grade Grease“ and thus for the exclusive use of lubricants that are approved for food production. Another highlight will be the MotoSim software tool. It allows, design and check manufacturing processes virtually in a 3D environment.

With the Motoman PL series, Yaskawa also presents the latest Generation of high-performance palletising robots before. The versatile all-rounders are used for automatic palletising and depalletising and are increasingly being used in distribution logistics in addition to classic end-of-line packaging.

Various cells with 6-axis handling robots from the Motoman GP series can also be seen in action at the stand: With different payload/reach combinations, these robots solve a wide range of automation tasks such as handling, loading or manufacturing processes.
