Solutions for processing liquid pharmaceuticals

Syntegon is presenting a new solution for filling liquid pharmaceuticals - the modular Versynta FFP (Flexible Filling Platform).

Syntegon's new solutions for filling liquid pharmaceuticals centre on the Versynta FFP (Flexible Filling Platform). With the new, modular platform, the company offers a customisable machine for the aseptic filling of small batches, including highly potent and BSL (Bio-Safety Level) preparations.

According to the company, the Versynta FFP is also the first filling platform in the world to feature an integrated system for automated HEPA filter scans for RABS and isolators. With the Versynta FFP Small Batch from Syntegon pharmaceutical companies can make their production even more flexible. Especially in times of highly specialised biotech drugs for small patient groups, easily adaptable filling machines are proving to be an advantage.

Thanks to the pre-developed and tested modules of the modular and innovative platform for RTU and bulk containers, the filling solution can be individually configured and achieves the following results Output rates of up to 3,600 vials, syringes or cartridges per hour with simultaneous 100 per cent in-process control. The Versynta FFP also includes several Pharma Handling Units: Each of these consists of a four-axis robot that handles the containers. transported from one station to the next without glass-to-glass contact, thus reducing product loss. A small number of format parts also enables the Versynta FPP to be converted quickly and easily.

The Versynta microBatch complements the portfolio with a versatile solution for filling very small batches in an isolator. At the trade fair stand, Syntegon will be using a digital presenter to showcase the highly flexible and fully automated production cell, which enables a complete batch-to-batch changeover in under two hours. The gloveless isolator of the Versynta microBatch reduces the risk of contamination and has integrated ventilation technology.
