The packaging machines from Somic Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH are used to Outer packaging which are used for the transport and presentation of food, pet food and non-food products in retail: From the simple ReadyPack to the compact versions of the Somic 424 and the high-performance SSL 800 machine, each development is based on an electronic control system with a sophisticated energy concept for deceleration and acceleration processes. This ensures very low energy consumption and helps to save resources.

Also with regard to the User friendliness are the machines from Somic optimally positioned: The large variety of items and formats can be handled easily and without tools thanks to quick-change connections for interchangeable parts on the machine. This offers the operator comfortable working conditions in daily production operations.

The developers' modular system allows packaging machines to be expanded and adapted to changing market requirements. However, sustainability is not only important to them directly in the machines: with a clear commitment to regional supply chains, the Upper Bavarian experts offer customised, future-proof solutions.
