After more than ten years working for Metal Packaging Europe (MPE) as Managing Director and spokesperson for the Beverage Can Forum, Welf Jung handed over his position to Stephan Rösgen on 1 March 2018.
„Over a decade is a long period that was very intense and exciting. The time is now ripe for a change. In Stephan Rösgen, an absolute expert is taking over the position, who is the ideal solution for the future with his professional foresight and situational awareness for the association,“ says Welf Jung, who will continue to work as Vice President Global Keyaccount for Ball Beverage Packaging.
His successor recognises the work and the associated commitment. „Welf Jung has done an outstanding job, for which I have the utmost respect and thanks. I am delighted that the association has placed so much trust in me and I am ready to take on the challenges ahead,“ he said. Stephan Rösgen, a lawyer by training. In his main role, he advises the Ardagh Group, which completes the Beverage Can Forum with the manufacturers Ball Packaging and Crown Holdings.
