The Swabian company Storopack has introduced a new foam-in-bag system. The Foamplus Bag Packer 3 produces foam cushions that adapt to the contours of the product in the carton.
With the Foamplus Bag Packer 3 Storopack presents the third generation of its established foam-in-bag system. New functions and many improvements make the Bag Packer 3 the most powerful and flexible foam padding system from the protective packaging specialist to date: All-electric operation with significantly faster processes, advanced film sealing technology, connectivity and the ability to create foam padding chains are among the performance features. Both small shipping goods such as ceramics and bulky goods such as furniture can be protected with the foam padded bags produced. The Foamplus Bag Packer 3 is now available in Europe, South America and Asia.
Foam padding systems are particularly impressive when it comes to Maximum flexibility in packaging The Foamplus Bag Packer 3 provides protective packaging for a number of applications with its customisable foam pouches. The system processes films with a width of 47 and 60 centimetres, allowing the optimum size to be selected depending on the dimensions of the product to be packaged.
The bags produced with the Foamplus Bag Packer 3 Foam padding adapts individually to the contours of the packaged goods, hardens and fixes them in the shipping carton. A new, optimised film sealing technology helps to extend the service life of the sealing-cutting system. The Foamplus Bag Packer 3 also impresses with even faster processes. 24 bags per minute (at 30 centimetres in length, half filled) it is according to the company the fastest foam-in-bag system to date.
The all-electric operation of the machine is also remarkable. Because Neither compressed air nor hydraulics the Foamplus Bag Packer 3 can be integrated into the packing process without any restrictions. The system is particularly user-friendly to operate. The size and fill level of the bags can be set via the ten-inch display, bag sequences can be programmed and defined pad sizes can be saved in the system using barcodes.
