To optimise the The problem of bee mortality is something that attentive news consumers have hardly been able to avoid in recent years. So it's no wonder that people are desperately looking for ways to ensure the survival of these allegories of industriousness.

For example, the company offers myhoney other companies the opportunity, sponsor a beehive that is cared for by an organic beekeeper. In return, the company receives around 20 kilograms of honey a year, which can be given as a gift to corporate customers or employees, for example, as well as the certainty of knowing that the honey is safe, to have made a contribution to the preservation of our environment.

Conventional containers for beekeepers are often made of plastic or similar materials, which was not compatible with myhoney's own corporate philosophy. The Braunschweig-based company then developed a packaging solution based on a renewable raw material: a bee transport box made of corrugated cardboard. Thanks to a special plug-in technique, the individual parts of the box hold together without glue or adhesive tape, which therefore offers sufficient stability for the purpose. The absence of binders ensures that the boxes are easier to recycle and that the bees do not come into contact with materials that are unhealthy for them.

„We approached the development of a packaging solution for the „myhoney“ project with the same ambition as for every other project before it. Nevertheless, we found the company's concept very inspiring, so we would like to take it up again explicitly and draw attention to the topic of „sustainability“„, says the company.
