Südpack inaugurates new plant in Poland in

It was only in July 2020 that the ground-breaking ceremony took place on the site of Bahpol, a company that primarily specialises in flexographic printing and was acquired by Südpack in 2015. Now, almost two years later, the extensive construction work and the installation of the complex Systems for printing, laminating and slitting largely completed.

The production facilities have been gradually ramped up in recent months. The first machines have been running in four-shift operation since the end of 2021. A real The highlight is the new printing plate systemthat South pack for the realisation of the resource-saving and highly efficient SPQ technology.

Südpack Managing Director Tharcisse Carl believes that this high investment will definitely pay off. The company is already confronted with a considerable number of enquiries from customers who want to use the CO₂-optimise the carbon footprint of its products further and, as part of a holistic approach, therefore also want to make packaging printing significantly more sustainable.
