Customised, comprehensive, sustainable

Under the motto "Packaging outside the box", Koch Pac-Systeme will be showing how a sustainable future can be shaped faster and better by focussing on all aspects of packaging today. This starts with packaging development.

The experts already contribute their expertise at this stage and ensure that the packaging is optimised for the product and can be processed reliably with maximum output. The second aspect for both consumer goods and healthcare, packaging made from environmentally friendly materials. Added to this is the special machine manufacturer's core expertise in developing customised packaging machines and lines with innovative processes and technologies to save material, make the process even more productive and achieve the best quality.

Trade visitors can find out about their focal topics at the stand. For example about the cycle-Family, the comprehensive portfolio of sustainable packaging types for attractive product presentation and full recyclability (Image). The latest "family member" is cycleForm. Packaging that was previously usually covered by the blister film range can now be moulded in the one-step 3D forming of Cook can also be realised with flat paper blanks. How this works can be seen on site: The rounded bonnets are produced on a compression moulding station.

Koch will also be showcasing digital service products that can be used to tap into the potential for more added value on packaging machines and in the surrounding area. The focus is on the K 4.0 smartpack and thus minimising unplanned downtimes and permanently reducing maintenance costs. The special machine manufacturer also follows the "customised" principle for its digital service products; the services within a smartpack can be tailored to the respective requirements.
