Drug counterfeiters often fill original drug containers with ineffective or harmful substitutes. It is often impossible to recognise that the containers have been tampered with. One of Schreiner MediPharm Tamper-evident label specially developed for vials with clear and irreversible proof of first opening can help prevent the unauthorised reuse of original containers and protect their integrity.
The new safety label encloses the vial up to the level of the cap. To open the vial a tear-off strip integrated into the label can be peeled off, which cannot be resealed unnoticed. After opening, a warning message also appears and clearly indicates the first opening. This first-opening indication can optionally be reinforced by a void effect: previously invisible lettering or symbols are irreversibly removed from an indicator field.
