In the search for more sustainable beverage cartons, Tetra Pak is launching its second „Natürlich. Carton“ campaign for the second time. The focus is on recycling, renewable raw materials and circularity. The campaign will run in Germany, Austria and Switzerland until the end of July.

Tetra Pak continues its sustainability campaign „Naturally. Karton.“ now in its second year. The aim is to beverage carton that is made entirely from renewable or recycled raw materials. and is fully recyclable and climate-neutral. This year's campaign focusses on the one hand with two sports motifs on the Consumer education on the topic of recycling, to show how important it is for consumers to help in this area: Only if a beverage carton is disposed of in the yellow bag or bin can it be properly recycled and the raw materials used reused. The focus in the B2B approach is on the recyclability of so-called composite packaging and the topic of circularity.

„The most modern recycling system comes to nothing if the packaging doesn't arrive there at all. We keep realising that many consumers still don't know that all the components of a drinks carton can be recycled, provided the infrastructure is in place and the packaging is disposed of correctly. If a recycling value chain works well and there is a proper understanding among all consumers, this prevents littering, saves resources and reduces the impact on the climate. It is therefore immensely important to use a campaign like „Natürlich. Karton.“ campaign to raise public awareness of the fact that everyone can make a contribution to recycling.“

At the end of this journey lies the sustainability goal Net zero CO2-emissions in the company by 2030 and by 2050 along the entire value chain.
