Tetra Pak is responding to the trend towards smaller portion packs by offering two new beverage cartons in 200ml and 250ml portion sizes with resealable one-step screw caps for the on-the-go beverage market.

Both portion sizes, the Tetra Prisma® Aseptic 200 (200 ml) and the 250 Edge with DreamCap™ 26 cap (250 ml), are based on the established Tetra Prisma® Aseptic 330 ml package with DreamCap™. With the two new portion packs, Tetra Pak aims to repeat the success of the multi-award-winning Tetra Prisma Aseptic 330ml DreamCap. According to the company, it has been used by more than 100 customers and over 340 brands since its launch.

[infotext]According to studies by the company, global demand for smaller sizes is expected to increase by 10 per cent of the current volume to 72 billion litres by 2019. And globally, more than 40 per cent of consumers already eat snacks on the go at least once a week. For many of them, a pack size of 330 millilitres is too large and the contents too filling. Fortified milk drinks, drinking yoghurts and energy drinks are particularly popular[/infotext].
