Thimm develops advertising displays with digital watermarks

Thimm has developed a display for the product launch of Meray muesli. It contains digital watermarks that can be read using a smartphone app.

Thimm has developed a display with special communication functions for the product launch of Meray muesli. Digital watermarks were incorporated into the motifs on the topper and base (image), which can be read using a special smartphone app.

Meray has been organised since 1999 by the Fresh Nuts GmbH as a brand. Due to the roasting recipes used, Meray also appeals to customers from the Middle East. In more than 40 countries, the Nut and dried fruit products according to the Hamburg-based company.

Thimm developed the Advertising display for use in the points of sale, where it is the Muesli product launch beyond tasting promotions. The displays stand on a quarter CHEP pallet and consist of a topper, plinth, support cross, intermediate bars and four trays. All elements were produced using digital web printing.

Our digital printing creates an optimal symbiosis in conjunction with LinkReader. The printing process can easily incorporate app-based codes without affecting the printed image.

The in the digital watermarks codes hidden on toppers and plinths can be read with the free app „LinkReader“ scan. Users then see the information and promotional videos for the new muesli directly.
