A robot separates the cardboard blanks from the magazine, the hot glue is applied and the cardboard is erected into a tray in the forming station. A grouping robot picks up the products in rows and fills grouping tables. A packing robot removes the format-dependent product formation and completes the toploading process. Thanks to the flexibility of the robots, smart insertion movements can be carried out here.

The use of robot technology makes it easy to implement process adjustments and minimise format changeover times. Reducing the mechanical complexity of the machine also minimises operating and maintenance costs.

Using a cobot application Transnova call the labelling of outgoing sales units on several sides. This application does not require a safety housing or format adjustment. The robot can use adaptive programming to automatically change the labelling positions specified by the operator in the recipe.

It is possible with the compact combination tools of the modularised Robot-Palettizer system, Different objects (cartons, bags, buckets, empty pallets and layer pads) partially manipulate at the same time. The Simploc software tool enables the operator to create new palletising schemes within a minute without any programming knowledge.
