Hermann Hermes, co-founder of the Turck Group, passed away on 2 January. He was 85 years old. The deceased was the last remaining Turck founder.

Hermann Hermes, co-founder of the Turck Group, passed away on 2 January. He was 85 years old. The deceased was the last remaining Turck founder. The brothers Werner and Hans Turck had already passed away in 2015.

Hermann Hermes joined the company in 1968 as a sales representative. The young electrical engineer from Essen was hired by Hans Turck. Hermes soon became Co-owner. For 30 years, he was a partner and managing director of Hans Turck GmbH & Co. KG until he retired in 1999.

Turck mourns the loss of an „energetic sales manager“

As „energetic sales manager“ is how the Turck Group describes its deceased owner in his obituary. Hermes had built up the company with dedication and prudence. Among other things, he was instrumental in setting up the site in the USA as well as other sales and production companies.

The company emphasises the human qualities of the deceased: „His engaging manner, with which he contributed his profound knowledge as an electrical engineer and marketing expert - often combined with humour and wit - earned him a high reputation among customers, partners and colleagues.“ He has shaped the company through Trust and a strong willingness to co-operate characterised. Reliability and loyalty were the foundations of a successful collaboration for him.
