Dutch manufacturer Henkelman is presenting the next generation of vacuum packaging machines at Anuga FoodTec. The table-top models in the „NEO“ series impress with their functionality, ease of use and modern design. The NEO vacuum packaging machines can be operated directly on the machine and with a smartphone app.
These are intended NEO vacuum packaging machines for everyday use in kitchens. The appliances offer classic functions such as Vacuuming food to extend the service life. Henkelman has also equipped the system with intelligent additional functions that are specifically tailored to professional users. These include programmes for marinating or packing specific foods at high temperatures.
Important functions such as the intensity of the vacuum, the shutter speed, the gassing of the Packaging bags and the direct ventilation of the vacuum chamber or the slow „Soft Air“ supply line can be set directly on the device. More complex functions such as fluid supply, partial vacuuming, the setting of control points for a HACCP risk analysis or marinating are programmed using the „VacAssist“ smartphone app. Up to 20 individual programmes can be stored in the device. The programme on the mobile device is connected to the vacuum packaging machine wirelessly via Bluetooth.
Henkelman emphasises the new design of the NEO vacuum packaging machines. Hygienic requirements have been combined with design requirements. For example, the stainless steel vacuum chamber is now firmly welded to the housing. Overall, care was taken not to create any hard-to-clean areas on the machine. All corners have been rounded. The gas springs used to open the lid on previous models have been replaced by standardised hinges that close the lid easily and tightly.
