With the new DUOBLADE PETIT desktop label cutter, VALLOY is introducing a digital roll-to-roll label cutter suitable for small-batch label production.
The Compact digital die-cutter for roll labels in web width 240 mm has only changed in size compared to the world's best-selling digital plotter DUOBLADE SX in web width 340 mm with more than 350 installations. This new device with the dual cutting head system retains the main features of the wider SX version such as Laminating, contour cutting, grid cutting and edge trimming with. It is VALLOY's affordable solution for finishing short and medium runs produced with small label printers. The device can cut any contour shape with a tolerance of 0.1 mm. There is no need to purchase and store pre-cut roll labels.
Scalable solution for an expanding market
DUOBLADE PETIT is the ideal finishing solution for small and medium runs of in-house label production. There are various printers on the market for short-run label production, but until now there has been no suitable digital roll-to-roll label cutter. DUOBLADE PETIT has overcome the problems that other digital blade cutters have in terms of speed or cutting quality. The new label cutter is based on roll-to-roll technology for digital plotters. The average cutting speed is 8 m/min. The two cutting heads work with automatic adjustment of the cutting head distance.

All the necessary functions and options are included in the compact all-in-one tabletop unit that only takes up two square metres of workspace. The prints can be laminated before contour cutting. Both cutting/punching and perforating are possible. After removing the matrix, the edges can be trimmed in a slitting unit with circular knives or the web can be cut to various roll widths with up to eight knives.
A buffer zone and the continuous stepless rotation of the rewinder ensure stable operation during the unwinding and winding of the mesh and during the cutting process at a constant speed. DUOBLADE PETIT produces any size and shape of label up to max. 230 mm x 300 mm. Media up to 330 microns thick can be processed. The included cutting software is compatible with Illustrator and Corel Draw.
