Enno Scharphuis, Head of the Assembly Technology Business Unit at Bosch Rexroth AG, is a new member of the Executive Board of the VDMA Robotics + Automation Association.

With his appointment, Enno Scharphuis succeeds Johannes Linden, PIA Automation, who has resigned from the R+A Board for statutory reasons. Scharphuis represents the VDMA's Integrated Assembly Solutions division on the R+A Board of Directors, of which he is also a member of the Board of Directors.

„Robotics and automation are key success factors in making our industry competitive and successful in the future. In addition to highly productive automation, the main focus in the coming years will be on realising flexible and adaptable manufacturing systems, in which a wide range of customer requirements are quickly implemented using software. I am looking forward to tackling these tasks together on the Executive Board and providing our members with solutions and support,“ says Enno Scharphuis about his new role.
