
Marzek Etiketten+Packaging produced wine labels on sustainable paper for the David Kerschbaum winery, which were designed by Original Indigo Blaudruckerei Koó.
A total of Six different label variations based on the old blueprint templates for the red wine variety Blaufränkisch. Three traditional wineries have combined their expertise for the project. The wine - the Blaufränkisch, 2019, from the Dürrau vineyard - comes from the renowned red wine estate David Kerschbaum in central Burgenland.
The templates for the wine labels come from the Original Indigo Blaudruckerei Koó, one of the last in Europe to print fabrics using this ancient technique and dye them with indigo. They were designed by hand by Joseph and Miriam Koó especially for this project.
Marzek Etiketten+Packaging was commissioned to produce the unusual wine labels. The labelling and packaging expert from Traiskirchen provided the right sustainable paper available and took care of the implementation.
