Efficient automation solutions and components for the entire packaging process will be the focus of Yaskawa at Fachpack: from the process level, interfaces and control systems to application-specific drive technology and robot-based handling.
Whether drive control with the current GA700 and GA500 frequency inverter series, motion control with the Sigma 7 servo drives, control solutions and visualisation or robotics with the Motoman robots: Yaskawa covers the complex requirements of packaging automation with a wide range of solutions from a single source. The Motoman portfolio ranges from delta kinematics and scara systems to industrial robots and cobots.
Thanks to consistent integration and technical consistency, the servo drives from the Sigma-7 series, for example, can be integrated into packaging machines via the tried-and-tested Slio I/O and control system. The Integration into a higher-level automation network is simple; Corresponding fieldbus interfaces are available.
With its latest new developments, Yaskawa offers machine and plant manufacturers high-performance system solutions that increase machine output, productivity and efficiency, offer short changeover times and consistently simplify and accelerate planning, commissioning and operation. Components with integrated, intelligent functions form the basis for this.
Robotics solutions for the packaging industry
Of course, the latest robotics solutions from Yaskawa's Motoman portfolio will also be on the stand: This is how the manufacturer presents the new 30 kg Cobot Motoman HC30PL. Its high load capacity makes it particularly suitable for palletising applications without protective fences. The long reach of the robot reaches every point on the pallet and allows a stacking height of two metres on a standard Euro pallet. Thanks to its safe operation, a safety fence is not required, meaning that the robot can be easily integrated into existing environments in a space-saving manner, despite the presence of people and forklift traffic.
As a second highlight, Yaskawa presents the Motoman GP20. Thanks to its slim wrist, the 6-axis machine with a load capacity of 20 kg is suitable for various handling and assembly tasks in confined spaces. The „Signature Edition“ version of the robot developed and manufactured at the European robot plant in Kočevje/Slovenia is on display. This is characterised not only by a special matt black paint finish, but above all by short delivery times.
Last but not least experience the current Plug&Play Cobot series HC DTP live at the stand. It makes it easier to set up simple cobot installations. The adapter flange and internal media routing options have been adapted to the wide range of common cobot moulds and grippers on the cobot market.
