Florian Geiger becomes CEO of Perlen Industrieholding AG

He succeeds Peter Schildknecht and brings with him extensive experience from the steel industry.

Florian Geiger will take over the management of Perlen Industrieholding AG and Perlen Papier AG from May 2025. He succeeds Peter Schildknecht and brings with him extensive experience from the steel industry.

Perlen Industrieholding AG has appointed Florian Geiger as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effect from 12 May 2025. The current Chief Commercial Officer of the Swiss Steel Group will also take over the operational management of the subsidiary Perlen Papier AG. Geiger succeeds Peter Schildknecht, who intends to devote more time to strategic tasks following his retirement.

CFO Gerold Brütsch will also be leaving the company in May 2025. Jürg Müller, currently Head of Finance at Perlen Papier AG, will take over his duties in a dual role.Geiger has been with the Swiss Steel Group since 2013, including as CEO of Steeltec AG. He began his professional career at the management consultancy Roland Berger. With his many years of experience in the industrial sector, he is expected to further strengthen the market position of Perlen Industrieholding AG.

Chairman of the Board of Directors Peter Schaub expressed his conviction that Geiger would lead the Group into a successful future with strategic vision and expertise. In addition to his new role as CEO, Geiger will also take over the management of Perlen Papier AG. Klemens Gottstein, who has managed the company since 2012, will retire in the course of the year once his successor has been familiarised with the company.
