Canpack S.A., part of the internationally active Canpack Group, is investing over 440 million Polish złoty (around 100 million euros) in the expansion and modernisation of its plant in Bydgoszcz, Poland. The aim is to increase production capacity by one billion cans per year and to meet the increased demand in Poland and Europe.

The measures are intended not only to increase the efficiency and sustainability of production, but also to bring the technology up to date, according to the company.

Securing the location and new jobs

The project would not only secure over 450 existing jobs, but also create over 100 new positions. Canpack is thus emphasising its long-term commitment to the Bydgoszcz site, where the company has been active for over 24 years.

Strengthening the market position in Europe

With the expansion in Bydgoszcz, Canpack is consolidating its position as the second largest manufacturer of aluminium beverage cans in Europe. The company produces at several locations worldwide and supplies customers in the beer, soft drinks, energy drinks and mineral water sectors.
