Next Pack is strengthening its glass packaging business through the acquisition of Aldiver. The French company is thus expanding its expertise in the field of glass food packaging.
Aldiver, based in Brumath, Alsace, specialises in glass packaging for food. According to Next Pack, the acquisition is intended to expand the company's existing glass offering and strengthen its market position. Next Pack had already acquired Verreries Perrin in 2022.
For Aldiver's customers, there will initially be no changes to day-to-day business. The existing teams and points of contact will remain according to Next Pack. At the same time, customers will gradually benefit from the group's resources and structures.
Glass packaging for food in focus
With the acquisition, Next Pack is expanding its activities in a segment where packaging must meet requirements for filling, product protection, transport, and retail presentation. Glass continues to play an important role, particularly with foodstuffs.
