Mondi is responding to the growing demand for paper-based MailerBAG packaging for online retail with a new production line in Poland.
Mondi has commissioned a new production line at its Krapkowice site in Poland to increase capacity for its re/cycle MailerBAGs. In doing so, the company aims to meet the growing demand for sustainable packaging solutions in e-commerce. .
The MailerBAG portfolio comprises four variants - from protective envelopes to block bottom bags - and is fully recyclable via the European paper cycle, according to Mondi. The expansion is also intended to contribute to the realisation of Mondi's sustainability goals as part of MAP2030.
