Canpack Group has appointed Fabio Hees as its new Chief Commercial Officer with effect from 2 September 2025. Hees joins from competitor Ball Corporation and brings over 20 years of experience in the aluminium packaging industry.
Canpack Group is expanding its management team: the company has appointed Fabio Hees as its new Chief Commercial Officer as of 2 September 2025. Hees previously worked at Ball Corporation for more than two decades, most recently as Commercial Vice President Global Accounts, where he managed international customer relationships and drove growth in the beverage can sector.
"I am delighted to welcome Fabio to Canpack. He brings more than 20 years of experience and a proven track record in the commercial sector of the beverage can industry," said CEO Marius Croitoru. According to the company, Hees' expertise in market strategy, sales and team development will be instrumental in further international expansion.
Hees himself emphasised on taking up his post that he was delighted to become part of Canpack at a crucial time. The Canpack Group is part of Giorgi Global Holdings and employs around 8,500 people in 16 countries. The company produces aluminium cans, metal closures and glass and steel packaging for the food and beverage industry.
