The US speciality manufacturer Bear Paper Tube from Dalton, Georgia, has entered into a partnership with the investment company Owner Resource Group (ORG) from Austin, Texas. The aim is to support Bear's growth strategy and expand its market presence.
Since its foundation in 2016, Bear Paper Tube has developed into one of the largest independent producers of paper cores and tubes in the USA. The products are primarily used in the carpet and flooring, flexible packaging, adhesive tape and film sectors. According to the company, its success is based on high product quality, reliable delivery and investment in automated production, which enables both speciality and large-scale production.
Focus on expansion and production expansion
As part of the new partnership, founders Michael Wise and Brian Clark will remain in leadership positions and retain a significant stake in the company. Wise will continue in the role of President, while Clark will serve as Vice President of Sales. ORG will contribute capital and strategic expertise to expand Bear Paper Tube's geographic reach and market segments while continuing to develop its manufacturing capabilities, according to a statement.
