At interpack 2026, Krones will demonstrate how automation and sustainability can go hand in hand in the packaging process. The focus will be on the Variopac Pro and innovative logistics solutions.
The interpack 2026 in Düsseldorf is the showcase for pioneering packaging solutions. Krones demonstrates how sustainability and automation can be combined. A highlight is the Variopac Pro, a 17-metre-long machine that presents sustainable packaging concepts for single-use containers such as PET bottles. With LitePac Top, a solution is shown where energy-intensive shrink tunnels are not needed. The packaging consists of a cardboard clip and a band made from renewable resources.
Automated material supply
Krones also demonstrates what fully automated material supply could look like. Part of the Ingeniq concept is an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) from System Logistics, which delivers packaging materials directly to the machine. This reduces the workload for operators and increases the efficiency of the production line.
Flexible container distribution
For the distribution of containers, Krones presents the Robobox SynFlow. This system can flexibly distribute container flows onto three to nine lanes and is suitable for all common container types.
Expert presentations and outlook
Technical presentations are held daily at the Krones stand, offering insights into current trends and future developments in the beverage industry. In addition to Krones, its subsidiaries Kosme, Ampco Pumps, and Perfinox are also showcasing their solutions.
