Omrom is showcasing a new Scara robot line for flexible production environments at Automatica 2018.
Various demonstration applications will be on show at the stand of the company, which has its European headquarters in the Netherlands. The following will be used Omrom robot for example in the food, pharmaceutical and automotive industries.
Omrom has also updated the design of the product. The Compact control unit has been integrated into the modern appliance base to save space. EtherCat and Ethernet interfaces are available in the control module and also in the robot arm. The cable routing has been revised so that there are no more loose cables. This makes it easier to integrate the systems into the production environment on site.
