Krones AG from Neutraubling and the Austrian company Erema Engineering Recycling Maschinen und Anlagen GmbH have agreed to co-operate in PET plastic recycling. Both companies expect to benefit from this by being able to offer their customers optimised solutions for plants and entire factories.
The Krones AG from Neutraubling and the Austrian Erema Engineering Recycling Maschinen und Anlagen GmbH will co-operate more closely in the PET plastic recycling. The co-operation relates in particular to the planning and design of complete recycling plants and factories for PET products. According to both companies, the co-operation is a good fit because Krones is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of filling and packaging technology as well as machines for the production of PET bottles. It also offers modules and systems for the recycling process. Erema, on the other hand, is the global market leader for plastics recycling systems and has expertise in PET processing.
Both companies expect the co-operation to bring greater customer benefits. From the production of the PET plastic bottles until their Recycling everything can be offered as a turnkey solution. According to Krones, it is expanding its expertise to include the recycling of PET plastic packaging in the beverage and liquid food industry. Emera, in turn, sees advantages in being able to offer its customers more engineering expertise and capacities for planning PET recycling plants.
When it comes to recycling, Krones and Erema each have their own products on offer, which offer many advantages depending on the customer's needs, particularly when it comes to washing or decontamination technology. Krones„ portfolio includes, for example, the “Metapure W„ hot washing technology, while Erema offers the “Vacurema" process specially developed for PET.
