Anniversary at GEPPERT-Band: Founded in 1967 by engineer Helmut Geppert, the company from the Rhineland is now celebrating its 50th anniversary.
GEPPERT-Band is now one of the leading manufacturers of Conveyor belts indoors. GEPPERT-Band has been expanding since the end of the 1990s; sales structures have been established in other European countries and the product range has been extended. In addition to the further development of belt conveyors, two new product lines were gradually established from 2000 onwards: Metal link conveyor belts and Plastic modular conveyor belts. One pillar of the company's success is GEPPERT-Band's particularly fast delivery service: many of the conveyor belts can be made to measure within 24 hours, all others usually within ten days.
In 2016, GEPPERT-Band was able to expand significantly as the company was acquired by the largest manufacturer of precision conveyors in North America - the Dorner Manufacturing Corporation - was integrated. This is accompanied by a high level of willingness to invest - the production area is currently being doubled through an expansion - as well as an increasing transfer of expertise, which will also create the basis for future-oriented company development.
